Yes, Yes, No, No!

So Ethan today found it hilarious when we held him up and Eric shook or nodded his head and said "Yes, yes, No No!" We thought it was funny and he had some good laughs :)

Our own personal Trading Spaces

Where yellow meets orange

Yes that's the lime green bedroom behind the door

Welcome to the Jungle!!

As of today, this is what the apartment we are going to move into looks like. We walked into it and the walls of the living room and kitchen are hurt-your-eyes-yellow and orange. Just when we thought things couldn't get worse, we walked into our soon to be bedroom and the walls are lime green and teal. No joke.
So we are in the process of painting these next few days, which isn't an easy task. The crazy people who painted it like it is now weren't the most careful with their brushes and there is paint on the cabinets and crooked lines in the window sills. Which are yellow as well.
SO here are some before pictures, we will get some after pictures once we are done painting and have moved our stuff in next week.

The BIG one!

So, I was on my way to Wyoming early in the morning and was kind of falling asleep behind the wheel. I stopped for a min to stretch my legs and throw my pole in the water a few times. This is what I caught on my third cast. It took about 10 min to land. IT WAS GREAT!

Carter Cousins!

Eric had training in Salt Lake last week so Ethan and I drove down with him to spend some time with Jenn, Bridger and Avarie. Ethan was fascinated by his cousin and watched her whenever she came around. We tried to teach her to be soft with him to prepare her for Jenn's new little boy on the way, and she did pretty well. She always wanted to give him a pacifier and would put toys on his head (luckily they were mostly soft :).

Jenn and I tried to get her to give Ethan a kiss, but she wouldn't while the camera was there. Of course as soon as I put it away she went up to him and kissed his forehead!

New Toy & Family fishing

Ethan is in the process of discovering his hands. Sometimes he stares at them, and now when you put a toy in front of him he moves both arms in toward it. There is a green frog with scraggly hair that he loves to watch- he'll follow it around with his eyes and when you put it on his chest he pulls it to his face, then cringes when the hair tickles his nose. Pretty funny to watch :)

Also, Eric decided that Ethan and I were worthy enough to accompany him on one of his fishing trips, so we set out Saturday morning for a place called Monkey Rock. It was only about 20 minutes away and very pretty, even at 6 am. Ethan pretty much slept the whole time, but woke up for the end. I caught a small trout and a sucker fish, and Eric caught a bunch of cut throat trout. We had fun and Eric thinks Ethan's potential to love fishing will increase if we start him young!

Fishing in Idaho

This is my new favorite fishing spot on the Teton River. It was a beautiful day and we got there bright and early. This was the first big fish of the day!
Later in the day I caught this fish. It is kind of hard to see in this picture but the coloring on this fish was beautiful.
This is Jared, and his great cutthroat trout.
This is me coming back from the river to eat some food. We caught about 35 fish in just a few hours...another great day of fishing on in Idaho!
