Take Luck, Eric!

ERIC IS GOING TO TAKE THE MCAT ON SATURDAY!!!

My brother Jeremy is serving his mission in South Africa and on some of his letters he closes "take luck" rather than good luck or take care. I thought this phrase was appropriate for Eric because he has to travel to Salt Lake to take his test this weekend.
Eric has been studying for the MCAT since about July, and was originally planning on taking it in September. He didn't feel ready then, so he spent last semester and Christmas break studying and preparing for the big day! When he registered for the test, he tried to sign up to take it in Pocatello but it was already full so he has to go to Salt Lake instead, about 4 hours away. It's at 8 a.m. and lasts about 6 hours. We won't get the results back for another month but at least now he can turn in his Med School applications. I'm so proud of him, he has worked so hard and I know he'll do great. Wish Eric luck this Saturday and keep him in your prayers!

Sweet Suit

As we were getting Ethan ready for church yesterday, Eric reminded me that he has a new suit to wear (thanks again Steve and Amy!). Its a size bigger than he's wearing now which is good because then he has growing room, but we wanted to try it on to see how it fit. He looked like such a stud! We decided not to let him wear it this week because he definitely needs a belt, and I'm not sure his typical brown shoes would look good with a blue suit :) We'll get some this week and then next week we'll let him knock 'em dead. The little girls in nursery anyway :)





He looks so grown up! I just took pictures of the top half because he walked out of the pants 2 steps after putting them on :) It's hard to get a good picture of him because he just wants to come get the camera! Any hints on getting kids to pose? or smile?

Apparently Aves was pretty shy about getting her picture taken but I think they turned out way cute!
